Jayashree Sundaresan has been passionate about music since the tender age of 5. Although she had minimal formal training, her keen ears picked up the intricacies of music by listening to her father and aunt, who were trained singers.

She attributes her ability to sing in different voices and portraying the underlying emotions/mood of songs, to the genes that runs through her family. Starting out earnestly leading the school choir, she carried her interest in singing to light music and was a permanent fixture on stage in her college and company cultural events. She has become a regular in the Bay Area light music scene now.
