Karthik began his musical odyssey at the tender age of 10. Since then he has performed in various light music stage shows and concerts. He ran his own music band, 3.4 KM during his college days. He has also cut music albums for music directors and has sung for various tamil ad jingles. Karthik is an ardent fan of Ilayaraja and enjoys rendering the maestro's songs. Other than music, Karthik also shares a keen interest in movie-making with a strong focus on international cinema.
