Pavithra practiced Carnatic music for six years, under the tutelage of different Gurus, including the renowned Manakkal Rangarajan. Loves to hear and sing the olden-golden melodies. Was nominated by the Govt. of India to represent India as the Youth Ambassador at the International youth Exchange Program in Singapore. Music has always been a passion for her. She was an active participant in cultural events in school and college in Chennai, India. She represented her state of Tamil Nadu at the National Republic Day Camp in New Delhi, in various cultural events. She had her stage debut in the US in TNC KalaiVizha 2005 and recently performed in Bay Area Tamil Manram's Chithirai Kondattam on April 9, 2006. Apart from her (over) enthusiastic involvement in Raagalaya, she has a keen interest in amateur photography and writing.
