Raja is very passionate about singing, dancing, writing and acting. He can reproduce any singer's voice after listening to their songs a few times. He is known in the bay area light music arena for his rendition of melodies and fast numbers with admirable grace and aplomb. He is up-to-date with the new Tamil movie songs and their lyrics. He has performed light music shows for prestigious organizations like Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam , TEAM, Bay Area Tamil Manram ,Bay Area Telugu Association and TNC . His light music performances for Tsunami Fundraiser Show, Chithirai Kondaattam 2005, TNC Kalai Vizha 2005 had won acclaims from the audience and rave reviews in Thendral Magazine .

Raja is a member of Sanhiti , a south Indian dance troupe and has performed in their shows "VANAVIL" and "VIBES". He possesses good writing skills and writes the comedy skits/scripts for his light music shows. He debuted as a choreographer and skit director in BATM's Chithirai Kondattam 2005. Raja is a humorous speaker and has rubbed shoulders with Sun TV & Sivaji movie fame Thiru. Raja, Jaya TV fame Professor. Thiru Gnanasambandhan and Vijay TV fame Thiru.
